Returns/Exchange Policy

Choosing a wig or hair piece can be a personal experience and everyone’s needs are different. We appreciate the difficulty of buying online when you can’t see and try on the wig. That’s why at The Individual Wig we like you to visit our Salon and talk with our experienced Wig Consultants. We can also provide assistance by telephone before you order online. For hygiene purposes a wig liner is required when trying on a wig.

All our products are checked and leave our premises in mint condition.

The Individual Wig will only accept returns and exchanges for items under the following conditions.

The Individual Wig must be informed by email of your intention to return/exchange the product within three days of you taking delivery

Exchanges/Returns will  apply only on incorrect or defective products.  The product will only be exchanged for the correct or identical product originally ordered. No refunds or credits will be given, unless we approve otherwise.

  • The Return/exchange product must reach us within seven days of you taking delivery
  • A Return/Exchange form must be filled out, including the reason and returned with the product.
    We will not accept any product returned without prior notice
  • All returned products must be in mint condition and have not been worn, brushed, combed, stretched, cut or damaged
  • All products must be returned in the original packaging, with all price tags, netting, instructions and labels
  • All products must not have any odours, such as cigarette smoke, hair spray, perfume or styling products
  • All products must be free of stains, marks or loose hairs
  • The cost of return delivery to The Individual Wig must be pre-paid by the customer.

These conditions are strictly enforced and any product not meeting the above conditions may be refused and returned to the customer at the customers’ expense. The Individual Wig reserves the right to charge a 15 percent repackaging fee if the box or package is missing or damaged in any way. You will be charged delivery/return costs if products are undeliverable due to incomplete or incorrect delivery information submitted to us.

Note: By placing an order with us, you are agreeing to the above policies. We reserve the right to limit excessive returns. This Return or Exchange Policy can be changed at anytime.

Colour and Product disclaimer

Being able to view the wigs and hairpieces online is a convenient and easy way to look at the styles and colour range but the web has its limitations in showing subtleties in colour and products. There may be some slight variation between the images displayed and the actual products.
